Our Firm
The origin of our law firm is dated back to 1879-1889 when the island of Crete took its first steps into being self-governed. Apart from being close relatives, Eleftherios Venizelos, Constantine Mitsotakis and Georgios Stefanakis are also descendants of a great law tradition. It should be noticed that Emannuel Stefanakis and Constantine Stefanakis were excelled in law science while the latter was a long-term Minister of Justice during the political changeover. All these years, our law firm has dealt with a number of great cases by defending the copyrights of well-known and acclaimed artists such as Manos Hatzidakis, Odysseas Elytis, Nikos Gatsos, Eleni Vlachou and many others. Moreover, in the past had the honor of representing certain trials of Mountain Athos, the Istanbul-based Ecumenical Patriarchate as well as the Jerusalem Patriarchate.
